This Site provides information about our Advising Services and The Lotus List, a curated, publicly listed referral network, and collects information through direct contact, embedded third-party tools (a form provider and, where applicable, a payment processor), an optional email newsletter signup, and other third-party service providers we use to operate our business.

We do not record discovery calls without separate, explicit notice and consent. We may not be able to provide an individualized response to every applicant who is not selected to proceed.
The Lotus List is a public-facing directory presented on this Site. Information a Lotus List Member submits for their listing is intended for public display and is accessible to any visitor, not only to our Applicants or Clients. We may also compile Lotus List information into periodic (e.g., quarterly) PDF versions, feature Members in social media posts (including LinkedIn), our dedicated Lotus List newsletter, and our other newsletters; and conduct featured spotlights or interviews (in any format or medium) with Members from time to time. Members may decline to participate in any spotlight or interview. Members consent to this scope of publication and distribution as a condition of membership.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share Applicant or Client contact information with Lotus List Members without consent. We may, at our discretion, share a Lotus List Member's information with an Applicant or Client who is not the right fit for our direct services, so they may reach out directly. Because the Lotus List is a public directory, information a Member has designated for public listing is accessible to any visitor to the Site. Information may otherwise be shared with third-party service providers strictly to operate the Site and our business, including those listed in Section 3.
Contact and application information is retained as needed to maintain professional relationships and business records. We may retain certain records, including application and engagement history, for legitimate business, risk-management, and record-keeping purposes, even after a deletion request, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Payment information is retained according to our payment processor's own retention practices, not by us directly. Newsletter subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the analytics tool in use.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we hold about you, and the right to unsubscribe from newsletter communications at any time. These rights are subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 9.
